Sarthak’s journey began much before he officially took the reins in 2019. Coming from a family of respected builders—his father and uncle laid the foundation of Bansal Builders in 1985—he grew up surrounded by blueprints, construction sites, and conversations about community development. Yet, when he stepped into the business, he wasn’t content to simply inherit; he aimed to redefine. With an MBA specializing in business strategy and infrastructure management, he brought fresh thinking into a traditionally conservative industry.

Sarthak draws professional inspiration from his father and uncle, whose integrity and work ethic shaped his foundation, while visionaries like Mohamed Alabbar of Emaar and Ratan Tata fuel his ambition to blend scale with humanity. His outlook on the industry is forward-looking—he advocates for stronger transparency measures, stricter green building standards, and smarter integration of real estate with city infrastructure. “The future,” he says, “is about building not just for today, but for the generations that follow.”

Recognition has followed his efforts, with SKR receiving accolades from Adani Cement, Gaur City, Unity Group, and Rathi Steel, along with honors like the Appreciation Award by Kamdhenu TMT Bars, Sales Excellence from Rockstrong Cement, and the Contribution Award from the All India Business Association. Yet, for Sarthak, the greatest award remains the loyalty of customers who continue to invest with them—some for decades.

For aspiring professionals, his advice is simple yet profound: “Start with clarity. Respect your team. Honor your commitments. Learn the business from the ground up, because technology can assist, but human insight is irreplaceable. And above all—build for the future, not just the now.”
